Poop!

I know that's not the most appealing title, but that pretty much sums up what this post is about. I have to blog this before I forget it. But then again, I'm not sure I could ever forget this...

One day last week I had just finished feeding Preston. Usually once I finish feeding him I have to change his diaper, but I usually give him some time to do any business he might have brewing. After a little while I figured he had done anything he was gonna do, so I went to go change him. I was wiping his cute little hiney when without warning it happened... and it happened so fast I hardly knew what had hit me. All I had to do was to look down and it was pretty easy to figure out what had hit me. My sweet little baby had just had a major poop explosion. I'm not talking about a little poop squirting out of his diaper or a little onto the changing table... It was like someone had taken a ketchup bottle and stepped on it with all they had. I had poop ALL OVER MY PANTS. And it wasn't just on my pants. It was on the WALL, the BLINDS, the CARPET, the CHANGING TABLE, and my sweet little baby. I stood there dumbfounded, hardly knowing what to do. Then I saw him make THE FACE... and I placed a diaper on him just in time (not even having time to fasten it) for him to explode again. He just stared up at me with this sweet, innocent face, not even knowing what he had done.

But I have come to the conclusion that he knew what he had done... and I think he found it funny.

The next morning he tried to do it again. This time it was on a much smaller scale and the diaper was placed on him. No damage done to any property.

Then yesterday happened. I recognized the signs and had the diaper on in time, but only barely. Once again, I didn't get it fastened. I'll spare the details on this one, but lets just say I never knew so much could come out of such a little person. And after this incident, I knew he knew what he was doing. Because the whole time, he was smiling. He finds it funny! I had a camera near by and I snapped a pic after this last incident.

  1. That is hilarious and gross all at the same time. I haven't had any poop disasters so far (knock on wood) and hopefully it will stay that way. I bet that was a pain to clean up.
